Originally from Central California, The Sober Junkie grew up in West Hollywood, San Francisco with his parents before re-locating back to Central California, where he grew up for a majority of his teen years. The Sober Junkie became a professional in-line skater at a young age, danced on The Warped Tour before an accident took a toll on his health, this is where the story begins, of drugs and addiction before becoming  clean and sober.  To pursue his music career, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for over 9 years, moved to WA state as of May 2023 , after returning to Las Vegas to complete an EP and get work. The Sober Junkie ain’t shy about posting his real truth of addiction and recovery, mental health , struggling with working as a gig worker and trying to maintain a job. It’s about the highs and lows and keeping it real. The Sober Junkie has a book pre-planned in the works, release date TBD. 

The versaltile singer- songwriter “The Sober Junkie” has mentored many artists in the music industry,  musically for the last decade. Through his uplifting music & tenacious spirit, he has overcome his addiction to heroine, and routinely speaks about  the cannabis plant (past tense) for being his exit drug.  Having experienced many highs and lows throughout his journey in the music industry, he now focuses on applying his music as a healing medicine for those in the community, and across the world that need support the most. Through the recovery with music,  he's been faced with various trials & tribulations over the last few years, to which  he made his music echoing emotional, fearless, resilience, pain and powerful stories through singing and songwriting in many creative styles. Having put all faith into his music, The Sober Junkie courageously creates melodies as medicine for the people, beyond the boundaries of borders.

Within songwriting, The Sober Junkie has written hooks for talented creative such as J-Diggs, Mistah F.A.B, Berner and many more.
